A Heart for Mission

🌍 Why I’ll always have a heart for mission-driven companies

My very first major role in creative strategy and branding was with Water for People. There, I helped implement a full new design system—reimagining educational print, digital content, and storytelling that supported their mission to bring safe water and sanitation to communities worldwide.

That experience lit something in me. It showed me that design and brand aren’t just about aesthetics—they’re about impact. They’re tools to amplify voices, mobilize action, and create change that matters.

Since then, I’ve carried that same thread of purpose everywhere:
✈️ Backpacking the Himalayas, teaching English in rural villages.
📚 Guiding new teachers in Honduras on classroom differentiation practices.
💡 Leading an advertising strategy workshop in Mexico.
❤️ Volunteering in orphanages and community programs around the world.

Every journey, every culture, every project has taught me the same truth: brands—and the people behind them—have the power to shape lives far beyond profit.

That’s why I’m drawn to companies with a mission at their core. Because when you align creativity with purpose, you don’t just make campaigns. You make a difference.
