RiNo Apparel Co is just one of the incredible brands I’ve help grow in a complete omnichannel environment - from online shelves to retail activations and partnerships. It’s those lessons and memories that help guide me on my path forward to bring other brands to life.
RiNo Apparel – Athleticwear, Rewritten.
The idea.
Athleisure needed a reset. RiNo Apparel set out to redefine what it could mean—blending fashion and function with local roots, conscious materials, and an unmistakably modern edge. Inspired by Denver’s RiNo Art District, the brand draws from the grit and vibrancy of urban life—while staying grounded in community, sustainability, and purpose.
We didn’t just refresh the look—we built it from the ground up.
The story.
We began with a brand workshop to unlock RiNo’s mission and values, anchoring around a single belief: that what you wear to move should also move you forward. With a target on millennial and Gen Z urban dwellers, we focused on creating a brand that was style-driven, value-aligned, and built for the real world—not just the gym.
The rollout.
We delivered a full-scale brand identity and go-to-market strategy that brought RiNo to life across every key touchpoint:
Brand Strategy & Workshop: Defined a sharp positioning rooted in sustainable living, elevated comfort, and real-world movement.
Visual Identity: Developed a clean, city-inspired design system—anchored in minimalist typography, muted earth tones, and an industrial-modern feel that echoed the RiNo district itself.
Photoshoot Direction: Art-directed shoots with real models across Denver’s urban landscape, blending motion, edge, and authenticity.
Content & Blog Strategy: Created long-form storytelling around sustainability, athletic recovery, street style, and mindful living to build brand affinity beyond product.
Social Media Playbook: Crafted a channel and content strategy with strong visual cohesion and messaging that felt bold, inclusive, and movement-oriented.
Influencer Campaigns + UGC: Launched with a curated group of micro- and mid-tier influencers who matched the brand’s energy, supported by a community-driven UGC initiative that encouraged customers to show off how they wear RiNo their way.
Affiliate Program: Built and launched a performance-based affiliate program to expand reach, incentivize brand evangelists, and create passive income streams for creators aligned with RiNo’s values.
eComm & Website Design: Developed a modern, responsive DTC website that paired aesthetics with utility—showcasing product stories and providing a seamless path to purchase.
Local Activations: Activated the brand in Denver through pop-ups, fitness collabs, art district events, and neighborhood partnerships—bridging online engagement with offline loyalty.
